The integrated value chain
From the ground beneath us to the strength above us.
Building the Future of Rare Earths
Our operations deliver both heavy and light rare earth elements vital to defense, energy, and high-tech industries. With advanced separation and swarf recycling, we maximize material recovery and efficiency. The result is a more resilient and sustainable rare earth supply.
From mine to magnet — and beyond
Mining
Round Top (Sierra Blanca, Texas)
We will develop our geologically unique Round Top Mountain heavy rare earth element deposit in Sierra Blanca, Texas, which our analysis shows contains one of the largest HREE resources in the Western Hemisphere.
Processing & Separation
Wheat Ridge, Colorado
We will apply our proprietary separation and our extraction technologies at our research and development facility in Wheat Ridge, Colorado (the “Colorado Facility”), including solvent extraction processes optimized for the unique mineralogy of the Round Top Deposit.
Alloying & Stripcasting
Cheshire, United Kingdom & Lacq, France (planned)
Supply rare earth metals, alloys, and strip-cast products at commercial scale through our subsidiary Less Common Metals Ltd. (“Less Common Metals”) in Cheshire, United Kingdom, with planned expansion into the U.S. and France.
Magnet Manufacturing
Stillwater, Oklahoma
We will expand our rare earth magnet manufacturing capability, starting with our facility in Stillwater, Oklahoma (“Stillwater Facility”), which is commissioning our first phase of production.
USA Rare Earth is building a fully integrated rare earth value chain
The chain spans resource development, processing and separation, metals and alloy production, and permanent magnet manufacturing. Our operations across the United States, including Texas, Colorado, and Oklahoma, and the United Kingdom, form an end-to-end platform from the Round Top deposit to magnet production at scale.
Sierra Blanca, Texas — Rare Earth Deposit
Our Round Top deposit in Hudspeth County, Texas hosts 15 of the 17 rare earth elements, including all heavy rare earths (dysprosium, terbium, yttrium, and others) — the most critical elements for high-temperature defense and industrial magnet applications. The deposit also contains critical minerals including gallium, hafnium, and zirconium. USAR controls the mining rights and is advancing toward commercial extraction, with processing and separation operations to be co-located in Texas.
Wheat Ridge, Colorado — Research & Development
Since 2020, USAR has developed in-house rare earth processing capabilities at our fully equipped Wheat Ridge, Colorado R&D laboratory. We have advanced beyond bench-top experiments to pilot-scale validation, including design of solvent extraction circuits (SX) — the primary separation technology for our commercial operations. This work accelerates the pre-feasibility study and engineering for the Round Top deposit and informs the design of our demonstration-scale heap leach and hydrometallurgical processing facility in Texas.
Stillwater, Oklahoma — Magnet Manufacturing
USA Rare Earth operates a 310,000 sq. ft. sintered NdFeB permanent magnet manufacturing facility in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Our Innovation Lab, commissioned in January 2025, has successfully produced prototype sintered permanent magnets and is actively prototyping magnet-grade recipes for customers. Commissioning of production Line 1a (1,200-metric-ton annual capacity) began in Q1 2026. At full capacity, USAR will produce 10,000 metric tons of magnets annually — hundreds of millions of magnets for semiconductors, defense, automotive, energy, robotics, and healthcare customers.
Our cutting-edge lab was commissioned in Q1 2025, and we are now working with customers to develop magnets to their precise specifications.
